“I thought I’d never see you again.”

The December 12, 2013 episode of Once Upon a Time in Wonderland is the show’s winter finale.

After the winter hiatus, the show will return on March 6, 2014, with the ninth episode, which has yet to be named.

In “Home,” we get a flashback that should flesh out a character who we don’t yet know much about. We’ll also see conflict in present-day Wonderland, leading to what the network’s official description calls “chaotic events” and “drastic change.” Plus, there’s a new celebrity guest-star voice. More after the jump (very mild spoilers).

  1. Everyone’s switching! In the mothership show, Pan and Henry switched bodies, and now Cyrus and Knave have switched geniehood. It’s enough to make a girl dizzy.

I loved the previous episode, but not so sure about this one. I wasn’t convinced that the Red Queen would rather have the Knave than remain Queen. No question that the Knave is adorable, but the RQ loves having power, and I doubt she would ever willingly give it up — for anything or anyone. Cyrus believed her, though. So does that mean she must have been telling the truth? Is Cyrus’ judgment infallible? Or was the RQ lying, trying to trick Cyrus/Alice/Knave as part of her game/competition/war with Jafar?

    • Cyrus had a heart-to-heart with the Red Queen. He mentioned being in-tune with people who made wishes since he has done the job for a long time. He made a comment that he knew what people wished before they made the wish.
Although Anastasia is a liar and full of deceit, Cyrus could see the truth. He’s been around for a while.I believe he can see past trickery given his lengthy wisdom-bred past.
I have to admit I was worried for a second. William ‘the Knave’ wished Alice’s suffering to end. I thought that was a horrible wish because she could instantly die. That would end her suffering, right?
I laughed when I saw Will in the bottle.
Will becoming a Genie, Cyrus being free, and Alice being alive is a much better result than Alice instantly dying to end her suffering.
      Risky wish, don’t you think?
Cyrus refereed to the Knave as clever (for the wish)–How about lucky??
