The finale is coming …

A bit of LOST nostalgia: Hurley saying “Bloop!” Will Storybrooke disappear the way the LOST Island did?

Season 2 is almost over (sniff). From ABC’s description of the finale — titled “And Straight On ‘Til Morning” and airing May 12, 2013 — it sounds like the season will end with a bang, as our visiting villains try to make Storybrooke disappear. Maybe it too will go “Bloop!” More, including six sneak peeks from the finale, after the jump (warning: spoilers!)

Official description:

The inhabitants of Storybrooke brace themselves for the end when Greg and Tamara detonate the trigger Regina had placed within the curse, with the annihilation of the town and its residents imminent.

Mr. Gold mourns the loss of his son, Bae/Neal.

Meanwhile, back in Neverland of the past, Hook discovers his connection to a young Bae after he rescues him from the sea and soon realizes that the Lost Boys are in hot pursuit of the boy.

Lots of sneak peeks:

Sneak peek 1: Greg and Tamara are willing to die for their cause, even though they don’t appear to know what that cause is.

Sneak peek 2: RumpelGold finds out that Bae is gone. He feels guilty, which doesn’t help Snow and Prince C, who were hoping for his help.

Sneak peek 5: Regina comes down on the side of good after all, which makes me happy.

  1. Oh wow Marj, I forgot about that-that Locke made the island disappear. It was kind of weird though. Those preview clips are great and thank you for putting them up. Continuing on with my comment in general and not to Marj but to everyone, I think this finale is going to be sad. So IS Bae dead? Damn. I can’t imagine Regina sacrificing herself and I almost started laughingwhen I saw that. For Rump to feel guilty though, well that works. Since this is airing on Mother’s Day it is also fitting that we find out that Henry and Emma can’t die because they were born in this world. They should be together and to all the balther that screams Regina is Henry’s mother well Emma was set up and she made a mistake giving him away because she was disadvantaged after being victimized and was understandably scared because of it. That should be forgiven. Someone’s mother is always someone’s mother even if they do the wrong thing and no man made laws will ever change that. The only hope for all the people in Storybrooke is a portal I guess. After seeing the clips I hate Tamara so much I can’t stand it but I hate Greg to now because he is going to kill all the children in this town and doesn’t even seem to care. Maybe they think magick is evil but magick can also be used to for good and that is a lesson both of them need to learn. Hopefully they will.Happy last episode of the season everybody…

    • I don’t think Bae is dead. At least I hope not. I like the theory that he’s gone back to Neverland. As for Regina, I’m really glad, after all that’s happened, that she has (once again!) decided to try to be good, but I can’t imagine her dying either. What would the show be without her? I’m just hoping that something happens to save the town so that her sacrifice is no longer necessary — though, knowing Regina, her resolve to do good might not last long, and she could change her mind and decide to save herself at the expense of everyone else.

Tamara and Greg do make creepy villains. Somehow, their being more low-key than the passionate Regina, Cora, and Rumpel make them seem as if they are even worse. They just creep around quietly, methodically trying to kill everyone. But I have a feeling that karma might visit them this episode…

  2. And P.S. Snow and Charming better not die or I am DONE with this show.
