Jane Espenson, Once Upon a Time writer

Jane Espenson

In this episode written by Jane Espenson (yay!), someone who we’ve only seen once before is coming back. See who it is after the jump (spoilers).

It’s Victor Frankenstein! (We saw him before in The Doctor.)

Official description:

Dr. Whale is tasked with mending Hook’s wounds and performing surgery on the stranger whose car crashed upon entering Storybrooke.

But some of the townspeople fear that the stranger may have seen magic — which could expose their true identities to the world — and think that leaving him to die would be the best solution.

Meanwhile, as Mr. Gold tries to reunite with a despondent Belle, Cora attempts to reunite with daughter Regina.

In the land that was, Victor desperately wants to prove to his disapproving father that he can, indeed, bring back the dead.

  1. Bring back prince phillip- his’s my favorite prince and he only lasted one episode-

  2. I think he’s going to be coming back. They made a point of saying that people who had their souls sucked out could be cured, or something like that.

  3. If you really look closely and it doesn’t take a microscope to see, as a pirate I think Peter Pan is scarier than Hook. I really have a hard time feeling for the plight of this character. I mean look at this guy, he looks ridiculous running around Storybrooke in his little pirate outfit with its silver hook and his eye shadow. He looked even more ridiculous in the full light of the Storybrooke emergency room. It reminded me of the first scene in Twlight where we met the character Carlyle, when he came into the emergency room to treat Bella. I had a hard time from keeping from laughing, he was so WHITE. And no one on the hospital staff was noticing him. If you are trying to find some sexual tension for Emma why did you kill off Sheriff Graham Humbert! Those characters had developed to a point that we the audience believed a relationship between the two character was plausible and we wanted it to happen. Nobody is developing into anything anymore. Stuff just happens. I think we are tired of Rumple looking for Bae. So he finds him, game over, what next? And Belle, now we have gone backwards in that relationship before anything could happened like them having some kind of scary kid. And I think we are tired of the Queen not getting any. Its just not natural. Look…she has magic. She could have anyone in town. Why didn’t you allow Frankenstein’s resurrection of Daniel to work. No crazier than a guy with a lot of eye makeup and a chrome hook for a hand to be running around 21st century earth. Then you have Ozzie and Harriet looking for a place of their own, boring. And you have Henry who catches them in bed in the middle of the day and he reacts naively to what they are doing. A little unbelievable a kid that age doesn’t know what’s going on. The curse is broken, they are suppose to be awake, but I think the characters were more interesting when they were under the spell of the dark curse.
