No “Once Upon a Time” episode on Feb. 26

David was so intent on looking at the glass unicorn that he didn't even notice the Oscar sitting on the shelf in Mr. Gold's pawnshop

There was no Once Upon a Time episode on Sunday, February 26, 2012, because of the Oscars. The Academy Awards broadcast pre-empted the show.

The next episode will be on Sunday, March 4, at the usual time. It is episode #14 and is called Dreamy. (More info after the jump — very slightly spoilerish if you didn’t see the preview at the end of What Happened to Frederick)

Dreamy guest stars Amy Acker (Angel) as Nova, a clumsy fairy, who falls in love with Grumpy (Lee Arenberg). Both have Storybrooke counterparts. Emilie de Ravin returns as Belle, and Emma tries to find out what happened to Katherine.

The writers are Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz, the show’s creators, and the director is David Solomon, who previously directed Episode 4, The Price of Gold, and is probably best known for his work on Buffy.

The image on top of this post is a joke. There is no Oscar, as far as I know, in Mr. Gold’s pawn shop, although Robert Carlyle, the actor who plays Mr. Gold, won the British Academy Award and the Screen Actors Guild Award (among other awards) for his role in The Full Monty.
