Jane Espenson doing two live online events tonight (Feb 12) for “Skin Deep”

Jane Espenson, who wrote tonight’s much-anticipated episode “Skin Deep,” will be doing a live interview/question-and-answer session tonight (Feb 12) after the East Coast broadcast of the show, and then she will be live tweeting the episode during the West Coast broadcast.

The live tweeting, during the West Coast broadcast, will be on Espenson’s Twitter account: @JaneEspenson, starting at 8 pm Pacific time (11 PM Eastern time).

This is the third episode that Espenson wrote for OUAT. The previous episodes were Episode 5, That Small Still Voice, which told Jiminy Cricket’s back story, and Episode 8, Desperate Souls, which told the first part of Rumpelstiltskin’s backstory. She is also a consulting producer on the entire series. Before OUAT, she was best known for her work on Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Battlestar Galactica.

Milan Cheylov is the director of Skin Deep, the first OUAT episode this Canadian director/producer/actor has worked on. He previously worked on “24” and other TV shows.

Emilie de Ravin (Clair, in LOST) guest stars.

This is Sweeps Week, when shows broadcast their best stuff — so I think we can expect them to pull out all the stops on this episode.
